Plakaat van Verbondenheid is a visual document of the history of Zeist. The medallions are a tribute to all the people, initiatives and places, that through time have committed themselves to solidarity.

Connectedness in 75 medallions
‘Plakkaat van Verbondenheid’ depicts the relationship of the centers that together form the municipality of Zeist in a pentaptych. Different nuances and meanings of the word connectedness, in languages spoken in the congregation, run through and connect the five centers that togehter form the municipality. Seventy-five medallions with people, buildings and initiatives symbolize the interconnectedness through time. The work of art is on display in the central hall of the town hall in Zeist.
