This work researches the processes of the learning hand but now departing from the inner image of
the maker. I wanted to analyse the spacial expertise of my hands how they translate a mental- inner- image of a pot
onto a three dimensional object. I wondered If I would be able to make the Korean Moon jar without an example in sight or even without sight at all. How do I touch or feel the 3rd dimension? How do my hands convey the experience of concave and convex
forms and communicate that to my brain? The results were quite confronting.
